Quality & Standards
Every Primex Nutrition product is the result of rigorous science, responsible sourcing and uncompromising manufacturing standards. This page outlines exactly what goes into our products — and why you can trust every capsule, scoop and tablet we make.
01
Our Ingredient Philosophy
We believe supplements should contain exactly what the label says — nothing more, nothing less. Every ingredient we use is selected based on a strict three-point criteria:
Evidence-Based
Every active ingredient is supported by peer-reviewed clinical research demonstrating safety and efficacy.
100% Plant-Derived
All ingredients are sourced from plant, fungal or mineral origins. No animal derivatives. No by-products.
Effective Dosages
We use the same dosages used in clinical studies — never underdosed proprietary blends that hide behind "label claims".
What We Never Use
| Excluded Ingredient | Why We Exclude It |
|---|---|
| Magnesium stearate | Common cheap filler that may reduce absorption of active ingredients |
| Titanium dioxide | Synthetic whitener linked to intestinal inflammation in animal studies |
| Artificial colours & dyes | No nutritional value; some associated with hyperactivity and allergic reactions |
| Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose) | Associated with gut microbiome disruption; replaced with natural alternatives |
| Gelatin capsules | Animal-derived; all our capsules use HPMC (plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) |
| Silicon dioxide (above trace levels) | Excessive use as anti-caking agent reduces product quality and integrity |
02
GMP Manufacturing
All Primex Nutrition products are manufactured in GMP-certified facilities (Good Manufacturing Practice). GMP is an internationally recognised quality management system that ensures products are consistently produced and controlled to the quality standards appropriate for their intended use.
What GMP Certification Means
Our manufacturing partners hold certifications compliant with EU GMP (EudraLex Volume 4) and ISO 22000 food safety management standards. Facilities are subject to regular independent audits and inspections.
Our GMP Standards Cover:
| Area | Standard Applied |
|---|---|
| Raw material testing | Identity, purity and microbiological testing of all incoming raw materials before production begins |
| In-process controls | Weight checks, blend uniformity and encapsulation/tableting controls throughout the production run |
| Finished product testing | Certificate of Analysis (CoA) issued for every batch confirming potency, purity and absence of contaminants |
| Traceability | Full batch traceability from raw material origin through to finished product despatch |
| Stability testing | Products are tested at accelerated and real-time conditions to confirm shelf-life and label claims throughout |
| Allergen control | Dedicated allergen management procedures in place; products tested for the 14 major EU allergens |
| Microbiological testing | All products tested for total viable count, yeast, mould, E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus |
03
